McGarrah Elementary General Music

The Wildcat Singers is a performing ensemble open to 3rd-5th grade students. All students must audition to become a member of this choir. Throughout the choral enrichment program, students will be learning advanced singing techniques and music literacy skills through a multi-cultural repertoire. We will be studying harmony and melody, musical form, rhythm and meter, ensemble skills, and stage presence. There will be opportunities for solos and small ensemble pieces for those students interested in developing that particular skill. As members of this choir, students are expected to not only uphold the performance standards of the group but the high moral character expected by all students in the school.
